Mirror

I looked in the mirror today and what did I see? Not my mother looking like me. No I have the kind of mirror that you would not mind breaking. I looked and saw my younger brother. He is the only brother I have with out a beard so I guess I was glad it was Jacky and no Bob or Jim.

Just wondering why in sign language the small words like the word (did) are the longest & hardest to get.
My nephew is married to Derek. I just love Derek and I know he can read lips but I want to be able to talk to him in sign. His birthday is in August and I just learned how to sign the song Happy Birthday. Now I want to learn a new word a day.
I think by doing that Derek will know I also love him & I'm so thankful he is in our lives.

Oh Dear the second picture is NOT my husband That is Uncle Mike & Arron & Aunt Kathy with me. I couldn't see the picture when it was small and I don't know how to correct it and I am trying to find the picture of Jim & I. It may take a long while

What a busy day. My dear hubby wanted to go motorcycling this morning but I had promised my girlfriend (Laney) that I would take her to BJ's for some big shopping. So Jim said when I got back we could go riding.

Once at BJ's I went to look at tv's but they were still expensive.
So we went shopping. I finished 1st so I said I was going to look at
the TV's again. I told Laney when she was done I would be at the front of the store. When she finished she called my cell phone and said she had found smaller TV's. So I went to the TV part and could not find her. She found me and said over here.

She took me to the computer section and showed me what we both for some stupid reason thought they were TV's. Not computer screens. Even funnier. I called my dear hubby and told him and he thought he better check it out first. So he came right over to BJ's measured the box and said this one will fit. So I got it.

Once at home he took charge and being the good husband he is went to put it up. In my kitchen for me. Then he asked where the cord for the antenta was. Thats when we realized we had a computer screen not a TV. So we went for our ride and on the way home I said I'll take it back.

Even funnier he said we would look for TV's at a different store because he didn't want anyone to know that we made a mistake. Well my dear sweet husband was so embarressed he put the screen on the counter and left me their. ( Like it was OK if I made the mistake but not him.)

Even funnier when I got up to the counter I told the guy my husband thought it was a tv and he is embarressed to return it. The guy said tell your husband it happenes all the time.

He still was to embarressed to buy a TV at that store so we went to another and I got a beautiful
27 inch TV.

I love my husband he makes me laugh a lot.

I love this picture...It was taken by my 3 yr. old grandson Giovanni...The girl in the blue top will be my DIL in 54 days. She is not only beautiful she is funny & kind. She works at the VFW hospital doing paperwork stuff. She has one brother who is married and her mom & dad are really nice people as well. My son Justin has always made the correct choices in life so I am sure he will be happily married an a wonderful husband & daddy for the rest of his life. Oh she is a red head with beautiful blue eyes. She said everyone used to tell her how pretty her eyes were. Not any longer. They all say wow Justin has beautiful blue blue eyes.

Now if I am really lucky the beautiful blond in the picture will also be my DIL if my son Jason gets around to asking her, they have only been a couple for 6 months, how-ever they met in law school so they have knowen each for a few years. They are both lawyers.

I have only met her mom who was also very nice. I just love having them around.

Uncle Jason & Laura gave me these cool spider man snow ball makers. Gramma and I made a lot of snowballs and when we got cold gramma let me bring them inside and we made them disappear in water.

Learning to keep his eye on the ball!!! Yeah!!! Giovanni did it!!

Oh why can't I get the pictures I want to show-up. I need someone to help me hand over hand and with a lot of patience. I may never find where I put them. Thank God I always print them up also. This is dough rising, I will go play in my kitchen now.

I am so blessed I do not have to be out in the snow. This is my driveway 20 minutes after I shoveled it. I just may have to wait until my DH gets home and let him do it while I make supper. The worst is knowing my children and their families have to drive in it. Plus it's still early in the season. We will get a lot more. YUCK

These things hanging are pomanders. I just love them so the flat ones are hanging on the wall next to the washing machine. My husband doesn't like things like these but I do. My friend Nancy gave me 3 beautiful ones (the one with the raised yellow flowers) she gave me 2 of them and one is hanging in the bathroom and DH is taking a shower now so I'll just let you know it's there. Nancy also gave me skin cream that is so nice to use after a warm shower.

The tall one is my deer happy husband whom after 3 years got a 6 pointer deer. His friend is in his 70's and went with him. (Thank-God he did he helped him pull it out of the woods.) Being a smart woman I wouldn't of shot the deer unless he was on my truck so I would'nt have to lift it. Jim was happy for 2 weeks. He gave our neighbors some of the meat and we were invited over to dinner, I need to pay them back soon as we've gone there a few times for dinner.

I started making these as Christmas gifts but I will have to go back to baking bread and wash-clothes to finish this years list.

My friend has a lot of really dirty glass blocks in his garage and his wife is very happy I wanted them. I got out my drill and put on the diamond tip and started to drill through the back side of the block...Easier said than done, but not bad, then I took a string of 50 multi-colored lights and slowly put each light through the hole. Then I wrapped a big red ribbon around the side and bowed it on the top and plugged it it. It makes a great night light looks cute under a tree lit up. So far everyone I gave them to claimed to really like them. I want to make at least 10 more and my friend is willing to give me more blocks but for the life of me I can not find any more lights. So I plan on baking bread and making washclothes to give out to the friends you don't want to buy gifts for but you want to let them know you want to give them something because they mean a lot to you. So look out dollar tree next year I'll buy at least 15 boxes of lights.

My pumpkin this Halloween, I carved one for my mom but she took it before I got a picture of it. Next year I will have my camera ready.

We went to my future DIL's & my wonderful son Justin for a pumpkin carving party. It's the 3 one we had and plan on having many more. It was a lot of fun.
